Culloden Farmhouse is a high-quality, vegetarian bed and breakfast establishment set in peaceful gardens yet only 100 yards from the centre of the medieval market town of Camelford (one of the supposed sites of legendary Camelot).  We have both bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation with 3 fully self-contained units and ample parking.

The town and immediate area offer excellent shopping and sporting facilities including golf and a leisure centre with 20m swimming pool, fitness studio and tennis courts. Visitors can stroll around the many varied and interesting shops, cafes and restaurants.  Both public houses The Masons Arms and the Darlington Inn serve excellent food, as do the 2 restaurants, Ravals and The Riverside

Camelford is 5 miles from the spectacular North Cornwall coastline at Tintagel, and Slaughterbridge the site of King Arthur's last battle; with the harbour of Boscastle and the beautiful beaches of Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney also close by.

A little further afield we find the quaint village of Port Issac, the coastal town of Bude or historic Launceston.

If you want history there is Bodmin with its famous jail and Jamaica Inn on the scenic expanse of the moor.  On the Moor fascinating villages such as St Breward and Blisland beckon the traveller.

Alternatively there is Wadebridge which, like Camelford, lies on the River Camel; and only a short journey away is the world-renowned Eden Project

In short Camelford is at the heart of a marvellous area for touring walking fishing swimming and surfing. We are an ideal location for a weekend break, romantic getaway, surfing or fishing holiday, or just a night or two bed and breakfast while you explore the North Cornwall area.

It is a region steeped in history and legend.
